The Invoice posting setup helps in setting the credit and debit accounts for the invoice posting.
Updating Invoice Posting Setup
To set or update the invoice posting setup, go to Financial Accounting > Setup > Invoice Posting Setup, the invoice posting setup page is displayed.
Click on the Update button at the top of the page.
Payment type: This field selects the payment type from the drop-down list.
Cash: This type of payment refers to cash.
Credit: This type of payment refers to the credit points.
Bank: This type of payment refers to the bank payment.
Type-4: This type of payment refers to the user-defined payment method.
Type-5: This type of payment refers to the user-defined payment method.
Note: User can define the Type-4 and Type-5 payment methods as per requirement and also their strings can be changed.
Note: You can make the changes in your Account codes by clicking on the field and selecting from the drop-down lists.
Copy Button: This button is used for copying all the accounts settings.
Paste Button: This button is used for pasting all the account settings.
Note: The main purpose of the Copy Paste buttons is to save your time as you can easily copy and paste your account settings from one payment type to the other payment type like from Cash to Type-4, you can copy and paste the account settings.
Click on the Save button to save the information.
